Pipe Bridge

FEM ltd was approached to fabricate a pipe support bridge in a short space of time. The bridge itself was designed to carry extraction pipes for fumes and had a total length of 39m. The mild steel construction was fully welded and fabricated from laser-cut box and plates. The work had to be carried out to BSEN 1090-class 2 meaning all welds had to be non-destructive tested. One of the customers requirements was that the pipe bridge had to be trial assembled in our workshop prior to being installed on site.
