Cocoa Roasting Shell

FEM ltd have a wide customer base supplying products to a range of different industries, for example: rail, construction, nuclear, and defence. This roasting shell was for the food industry and is responsible for drying cocoa in the chocolate making process. In this project we were responsible for the manufacture of the shell and louvres, along with the installation of the louvres. The carbon steel shell was painted as per the customer’s request as well as being delivered to the customer. The internal working temperature of this roasting shell would be very high, so the material was carefully selected for its properties of working in such conditions.
